Mr. Pui Chin Jang manages his family business which encompasses timber extraction and logging, transportation, property investment, property development and construction. He has extensive experience and knowledge in timber-related operations and property-based activities.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from Nanyang University, Singapore. He was appointed to the Board of Ta Ann Holdings Berhad as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director since 2 October 1999. Mr. Pui is also a member of the Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee. He was a former Chairman of the Sarawak Timber Association.

Mr. Pui has no family relationship with any director or major shareholder of Ta Ann Holdings Berhad. He is deemed interested in transactions with related parties, which are carried out in the ordinary course of business, as detailed in the note to the account and breakdown of recurrent related party transactions. Except as disclosed therein, he has no personal interest in any other business arrangements involving the Company.

He attended four (4) of the five (5) Board meetings held in the financial year.
